MetaversusWorld has seen many interesting changes and developments this year. First, there was its partnership with Ready Player Me, an avatar platform, that would give its users an even more realistic metaverse experience. Now, MetaversusWorld has scored another coup; onboarding top programmer Javier Sevilla as its new architect.
This move is not just one of the world’s top programming talents joining the team but also represents a partnership with Sevilla’s own company Bionic Ape Game Studios.
All About Sevilla
When it comes to programming and software development, few people can boast of a story as complex as Sevilla’s. His interest began as early as in middle school when he still lived in Spain, his country of origin. This was mainly focused on gaming but unlike most boys his age, he turned it into a business.
As a teenager, he made money installing mod chips for PlayStation and went on to pursue a degree in Computer Science at Universidad de Alcalá. Following his university education, he took on many software development roles in all sorts of industries like banking and call centres. He also practised in different parts of the world such as his native Spain and also in Silicon Valley.
But around 2104, he decided to go back to the roots of what had made him passionate about software in the first place. This was after the Unreal Engine source became publicly available. As he puts it, he became aware of just how much could be done with such source code and how many businesses might struggle to use it to the fullest.
Taking his passion for Unreal Engine to the next level, he created Bionic Ape, a company that helps others develop on the Unreal Engine. During that time he also created courses on Unreal Engine and expanded Bionic Ape’s expertise into MMO, Metaverse, Deep Learning, VR, AR, and AI.
Sevilla’s Plans for MetaversusWorld
Sevilla is now bringing his years of experience, expertise, and passion to his new role as chief architect at MetaversusWorld. His priorities moving forward are to help secure the ecosystem and prepare it for a new season of growth.
“MetaVersusWorld hired me to stabilize their platform architecture and prime it with solid foundations for extreme growth as well as provide scalable gameplay architecture for their virtual worlds. My goal as the lead architect is to ensure a stable, robust, elastic and scalable platform architecture that is efficient, repeatable and can handle varying loads as it scales and becomes more successful and popular with brands and their consumers,” he said in a recent statement.
But it is not just growth for the sake of growth; Sevilla and MetaVersusWorld want to make the platform the most engaging that it can be. This was the philosophy that guided the decision to introduce hyper-realistic avatars into the ecosystem and this will be guiding its development moving forward. As its chief architect, Sevilla has expressed excitement at the prospect of creating one of the best game projects in the industry.
“I am using my deep game design experience to ensure that the games and the game mechanics within the worlds are seamless, intuitive, engaging and that the reward structures align with the company vision and add logical value to the experiences. MetaVersusWorld’s vision for their worlds and their community is compelling, I am thrilled to be contributing to such an innovative platform that will change the face of metaverse experiences,” he says.
